A Letter to Mom

Dear Mom,

You can rest now.

I will miss our long distance conversations.

Whatever lessons I learned from you I will remember.

Whatever love you gave me I will cherish.

Sorry for not being by your side on your last moments.

Do not worry because I grew up with a fighting spirit because of you.

Be with Uncle Ed now. It’s about time you meet up with your brother again.

I remember our conversations on how much hurt you felt when he passed. Now he will be welcoming you to heaven.

Do not worry about Dad. As long as I have strength I will take care of him. Your grandson will also take care of him.

I’ll make sure your grandson hears about your life and your achievements.

Love you Mom. Thank you for giving me life!

Rest now.

Love,
Jim-B
