Esplanade Bridge, Singapore – My Happy Place

The Esplanade Bridge is one of my favorite places in Singapore.  It is actually my happy place.  Every time I am near this bridge I make sure I go and check it out.  It’s my happy place because it brings me back to a time when my life was simpler, basically good memories.

I also include this view in my “tour package” for my friends and friends of friends who decide to visit Singapore.  I personally take them around some sites that are close to each other and take their pictures for them – unfortunately, I don’t get paid for that “tour”. 😦

This area is also perfect for night jogs or photowalks since nearby you’ll see the Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer, and other well known Singapore attractions.

The shot above was taken at night when the bridge actually changes colors.  Lights are placed under the bridge that emit the different colors like red, blue, green, yellow, etc.

This bridge is also part of the Singapore Grand Prix race route (of course not under it).  Imagine the noise produced by those F1 cars once they pass this bridge!!!

The best part of this site is once you turn around from this view there is a Starbucks right behind you.  Perfect for a cool down  after touring hot Singapore.
